In October, the PBS network in the United States broadcast Wham! Bam! Islam! an hour-long documentary of the making of THE 99.
After the broadcast, our Facebook ‘likes’ began to soar and have continued to do so every single week since. 2012 is the year that international audiences will see THE 99 in action. Quality television and audience demand are factors that blend well in favor of THE 99 showing up in your living room this year. 68 countries are now covered under existing broadcast licenses and their voiced plans for 2012 indicate that the vast majority of them will be on-air this year. Look out for our heroes on channels that range from MBC 3 to Cartoon Network! Alternative plans for distribution in areas where broadcast coverage will not be available are being finalized.
